October 3, 2012- After the stroll through the open air museum in Shirakawa-go it's time to find some lunch!  For some reason locating restaurants here is harder than it looks…why is that???? Thank goodness one of the near-by souvenir shops also seems to be a restaurant… Mmmm!!!! Nooooooooodles!!!!!

October 27, 2012- The girls wanted to create "secret messages" using lemon juice invisible ink.   🙂   I LOVE that they did this on their own.  Annika did ask if she could use one of my lemons to create the lemon juice.  I'm not sure what the messages are though.  ;-)
